About Me

I'm an SSIS funded PhD researcher in the Centre for Rural Policy Research at the University of Exeter  where my research focuses on the rewilding of species, land and ecosystems. In particular I'm looking at how rewilding affects and is affected by other rural land use and how this is negotiated. Prior to commencing my research I had a career in the veterinary industry so I have an active interest in animal management, health and welfare. This combines with my research to a create an interest in the interface between human and other-than-human interests, human wildlife conflicts, scientific and knowledge controversies more broadly, zoonoses, and finding one-health solutions to these challenges.
