Gail takes a University-wide lead on all aspects of research integrity, research governance and ethics. As the Research Ethics and Governance Manager, Gail is responsible for developing policy and processes in line with regulatory requirements, legislative changes and best practice. Gail is the Secretary to the University Ethics Committee and the Animal Welfare & Ethical Review Board and the co-ordinator for the Dual Assurance Ethics portfolio. MORE

Tracey is in the final stages of her EdD at the University of Exeter, researching parents’ perspectives on the policy and practice of inclusive education in Dubai private schools. Tracey has over 30 years experience within education including teaching and as a headteacher. MORE

Rebekah is a PhD researcher in biosciences at the University of Exeter. She works on the genetics and evolution of ageing using nematode worms as a model organism, and is funded by the Royal Society. MORE

Lucy Barkley

Lucy is a social anthropologist and is in her final year of her ESR- funded PhD researching sensory ethnography of food, home and community among Palestinians living in Britain.

Lucy interests include diaspora, memory, temporality, futurity, resistance and refusal. MORE

Victoria Christodoulides

Victoria is a second year PhD student with the University of Bath and University of the West of England. Her core research interests include participatory action research using creative practices and feminist new materialism to extend the understanding of childhood trauma recovery literacies.

Lois is completing a PhD in Social Policy at the University of Bristol, researching 

intergenerational interaction, using (post)qualitative and ethnographic methods to explore the processes involved when different generations are bought together through community intergenerational practice. MORE

Fida Adra

Fida is an SWDTP funded student in the Area and Development studies pathway at the University of Exeter. Fida's research interest is refugee economies, more specifically entrepreneurship among refugee women in the Middle East.

Josip Martincic

Josip is undertaking PhD research funded by AHRC through the SWW DTP programme. His interests are in historiography and the role ethics plays in the creation and dissemination of history. More on his interest an be found. MORE

Conor Prior

Conor our graphic designer for the 2021 Research Ethics  Conference. Conor is highly proficient in design across the Adobe Creative Suite with a background in Animation. Conor also has experience with designing email marketing campaigns, social media posts and other marketing collateral, as well as website imagery and vector illustrations. MORE

Dr Alex Dudgeon

Alex is a Research Fellow in Physics at the University of Exeter. His research focuses on developing medical devices for cancer diagnostics and so has experience of writing and obtaining ethical and regulatory approval for human in and ex vivo studies.
